Deliverables:

For commerical work: Depending on our agreement, I use DropBox for secure sharing and provide high resolution images on disk.

For non-commercial clients, do you have online galleries with shopping carts?

Short answer: No. If you want prints, I am available to assist you.

Providing clients a CD to make their own prints is the standard these days, and most sharing is done on FaceBook.

However, I'm available for those folks whom desire prints, and/or are not technically savvy to use an online service or desire that I assist them.

Whatever you want, I'll be there to help you.

Who does your editing and post?

I have over a decade of experience in graphic design and post editing, actively working for an in-house advertising department for a global medical device company.

Do you have a studio?

No. I'm a mobile photographer and bring whatever gear is required to shoot on location, in your home or place of business.

The storefront studio model is dead, as evidenced by the sheer number of mall boutiques, franchise and private studios that have already closed, (2010 was a very bad year). Many relied on expensive print packages to maintain their overhead, which folks are no longer willing to purchase.

I did side work for a private studio that went bust for the same reason. Therefore, I decided to use a mobile option to keep both my costs and your fees down.

That said. If we need space for your project, I do subcontract with other studios, whom in turn will part out their spaces for my use if needed.

Do you have insurance?

Answer: Not at this time as I'm currently an employee and covered by company policy.

Are you the member of any clubs or organizations?

Not as this time.

Are you a member of any public forums or venues?

I used to post heavily on DVinfo regarding video production years ago. I also posted on Luminous Landscape and more recently, DPReview.

I do have a facebook page. Because I've been working for as a staff member or corporations, and company policies, I have refrained from social media and sharing of such work.

Why should you hire a professional?

Short answer: When the job is important enough to you, that it requires someone wtih experience behind the lens.

Let's face it. The market has become saturated with young, eager professionals whom want to make a quick buck. Few with any real world, on the job training. After all, taking pictures are easy, right?

Unfortunately, this has both driven down the cost, and killed the profits for many of the good and experienced few. Most either shut down, or move to other forms of revenue (books, training and consulting).

That also creates a problem for you, the client. While your dollars spent will be fewer, the results you get in return, will also be significantly reduced.

To answer your question. The people who hire an experienced professional are concerned with getting it done right, the first time. They recognize and feel that their time is also valuable, and for all their efforts, they aren't gonna play a game of fauxtographer roulette on Craig's list for the $50 special and risk blowing the job.

So. Why do you still shoot?

Short answer: Because it's something I still love to do.

I've been shooting for 30 years. The last 12 professionally, (and shooting digital since 2003). It's what I live for. While I have other skills and do other things to make ends meet. Those things have allowed me the freedom to continue shooting professionally for clients whom have a mutual respect for my services.

I'm aware of the economy and that it's tough, for everyone. With each passing year as more businesses fold, I feel that I now belong to an exclusive minority, (and perhaps that will pay off in the long run). So, I do what I can to keep my passion alive, for those whom still see the value in what I provide.

I like to thank you for spending the time reading this, and please feel free to contact me for any additional questions.
